Xuanwu Park was built in the Ming Dynasty that covers an area of 8.37 hectares. Then it has been ruined by the earthquake. In 1984, it has been rebuilt. 

Xuanwu Park has combined the classic ancient building with modern garden architecture, thus making it a novel urban garden with characteristics of southern China and giving prominence to the elegant and tranquil.

Xuanwu Park has recently been comprehensively improved and become a well-facilitated and energy-saving park to keep pace with the modern time. The newly opened Xuanwu Park is an environment-friendly, green ecological park which combines environmental protection, sightseeing, energy-saving, emergency alert functions altogether.

Through the utilization of rain, solar energy and geothermal energy, the park can make the best use of the available energy and recycle it. As a result, Xuanwu Park could almost self-support.
