The Laoshan Mountain Bike Course

The Laoshan Mountain Bike Course is the venue for the track cycling event for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The three-story building is 33.8 meters tall and is capped with a dish-shaped dome, in which more than 200 lights are installed.

The first floor is designed for garage, equipment room such utility rooms. The third floor is for the security. The second floor is the kernel of the building, is where the bike track lies. The German company designed all-weather wooden oval cycle track could perfectly show the competitors’ dash and cornering techniques. Contribute to this advanced track, Laoshan Mountain drive its way to the top international velodrome in the world.
