The Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium resembles a flat shuttlecock. The gymnasium consists of a warm up venue and a competition venue. The square in front of the gym is made in grey, green and yellow colors and it brings people joy and leisure feeling. 

This gym boasts the world’s largest pre-stressed suspension dome ceiling 93meters in diameter. To hold the badminton and rhythmic gymnastics competitions, it require strictly on the wind speed in the gym. The creative design of putting air outlet of the air condition under the audiences’ seats and each seat has three 13 centimeters air outlets, has disseminate the wind to 0.2 meter/second. This brings down the extrinsic factor’s interference, so that the player could show their best capability.

A variety of energy-saving and environmental –friendly methods are implemented in the Gym, such as rainwater recycling, ground –source heating in the winter, and a water –source pump for cooling in the summer, just to name a few.
