Memorial Museum of Anti-Japanese War

This heroic memorial museum was built in the year 1987 to make the fiftieth anniversary of the Lugouqiao Bridge Incident happened on July 7, 1937, when the eight-year Anti-Japanese War started. The name of the Memorial Museum of Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War was heartfelt inscribed by Deng Xiaoping, the paramount leader of China. 

The Memorial Museum of Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War is in modern Chinese architectural style. In the Introductive Hall, it stands a gigantic bronze basso-relievo "Let Our Blood and Flesh Carve Our New Great Wall", which is height five meters and eighteen meter in length. On the wall at the both sides of the sculpture, the music scores of the China's National Anthem March of the Volunteers and the patriotic song March of the Eighth Route Army are being displayed.

The Exhibition Hall shows more than 5,000 precious articles of relics and documents about the heroic Anti-Japanese actions and wars from 1931 to 1945. They are included the things and documents that are concerned the main events, important battles and famous celebrities of that era. Some great battle scenes have been remade into surreal three-dimensional models in the museum, such as the Landmine Warfare, Tunnel Warfare and Water Guerilla. The stunning and moving scene of when soldiers dying, they are kissing the motherland's soil while their guns are pointing to the sky, these incarnate the unyielding spirits of the Chinese army.
